Welcome to dnaleisure.co.uk. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern DNA LEISURE LTD's relationship with you in relation to this website.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement: “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting DNA LEISURE LTD's terms and conditions and privacy statement. "The Company", “Ourselves”, “We” and "Us", refers to our Company.

Representation of Products

We reserve the right to alter, without notice, the range of products, prices of products and Terms and Conditions of sale before you place an order. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale without notice.

General

We have the right to refuse service to any customer at our discretion discretion. We require proof of age for all customers before all age restricted orders are shipped.

We reserve the right to change and amend these terms and conditions. Any changes we make will be deemed to have come into effect on the date that they have been posted on the Site. You are responsible for reading the terms and conditions. When you place an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions and the use of our website shall be governed by the laws and regulations of the United Kingdom. If any part of these conditions is invalid, illegal or unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the validity, legality or enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

Our Contract with you

Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product or products advertised by us. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. Our acceptance of your order will take place only when we despatch the product(s) that you have ordered from us.

If we are unable to fulfil all or part of your order, we will contact you to with regards to alternative products available. If you choose not to accept an alternative product we will arrange a full refund for that element of your order.

Prices and Payments

All prices are charged in British Pounds (GBP) and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the website. We reserve the right to amend prices without notice from time to time.

The total cost of your order is the price of the products inclusive of postage and packing and VAT at the current rate which is 20%.

Full payment must be made at the time your order is placed by a payment method accepted by our store. In the event of non-authorisation of payment by your card issuer you will receive an on-screen notification and your order will not be processed.

All credit / debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Delivery

Your order will be despatched via DPD or Royal Mail’s 24hr or 48hr Tracked Delivery service.

Orders placed before 11am will be despatched on the same working day. Orders placed after 11am will be despatched the following working day.

Any dates of delivery provided by us are estimates only, do not form part of our contract with you and time and delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract. Orders to more remote areas of the UK, such as Highlands, Isle of man, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland etc, may take a day or two longer due to their geographical location.

We will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performance of any of our obligations under a contract with you that is caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you if such an event occurs.

Events outside of our control include:-

  • Strikes, malicious injury, lock out or other industrial action
  • Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war
  • Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence or other natural disaster
  • Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport

Damage to Goods

Claims for damage in transit or short delivery must be advised to DNA Leisure Ltd on the day of delivery.

Non Delivery of Goods

Non-delivery of goods must be advised to DNA Leisure Ltd within 7 days of the invoice date.

Cancellation Policy

You must cancel your orders within 24 hours of placing the order. If your order has been dispatched , we will require it to be sent back to use before a refund is given. The postage and packaging fees will not be reinbursed if the order has been shipped. Returns/Refunds:

If you find yourself dissatisfied with your purchase, simply notify us within 30 days of receiving the goods, and we will promptly arrange a refund or replacement.


Visible damage, misuse and wear & tear are not covered under warranty. The goods must be returned in the same condition and original packaging in which you received them. All costs and associated risks of the return are your responsibility. We would reccomened using a tracked returns delivery service to ensure they arrive back to us safely.

  • Returns are usually credited with 7 days of receipt. We will refund you as soon as the returns been processed.
  • Some products may be sold on a 'Limited Warranty' basis. The terms of this warranty are usually stated within the product details. Any faults outside of the limitations are not covered.
  • Products sold on a 'no return' basis are not returnable. This would have been made clear within the product details. This does not mean that they have a high return rate, but rather the low value or delicate nature of the product has resulted in the manufacturer not offering a warranty.
  • Any tampering with products will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.

Your satisfaction is our priority, and we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these terms for a smooth return experience.

Age restrictions

It is illegal to purchase any age restricted products from our website if you are under the age of 18

We proactively enforce UK legislation preventing the supply of knives (This includes all bladed products), crossbows, paintball / blank firing guns and/or slingshots to people under 18. Therefore, we ensure that all customers purchasing knives, swords, crossbows, BB / paintball / blank firing guns and/or slingshots are of the legal age in the UK (18 years old).

By placing an order on this website you are giving permission for an identity check to be performed to confirm that you are over 18 years of age. We do this in a number of ways detailed below. If you are not on the public version of the electoral register we will need to request proof of ID.

The information contained in each order will be used to verify both your age and identity.

In a small number of cases, our checks will not verify the age of some customers. If this applies to you we will contact you for further information to confirm you are over eighteen years of age. You can email a scan or picture of your driver’s license, passport or your UK Proof of Age Card (PASS Card) to hello@dnaleisure.co.uk. If we are unable to verify your age we will cancel your order and refund your payment.

To avoid the sale to persons under the age of 18, we carry out the following steps:

1)    A check to see if your name is on the public version of the electoral roll at your delivery address. If we can obtain a match, your order will be processed and dispatched provided this is the same address at both locations. If not, we will still need proof of age, this is especially true if we see two different names on your order. We will request proof of age for both people.

If we can’t obtain your details:

2)    We will contact you by phone or email for proof of age.

Typically we will ask you to provide us with with a scan or photo of an official ID document which clearly shows your name and date of birth. We only accept the following forms of ID.

  • Drivers licence
  • Provisional licence
  • Passport
  • Citizenship Card
  • Firearm/Shotgun licence

To ensure that your order is processed quickly, please only include your full name (No nickname or abbreviations) and address that your payment card is registered at. An alternative delivery address can be entered at the checkout page. Please note we may ask for proof of address if it is not the same as your billing address.

If the date of birth you entered is different to the one on your ID - We will ask you to take a photo of the ID next to your face. We do this to ensure you are the person making the order.

In addition to performing an age check prior to the order being shipped , we will also deliver your parcel using an age verified delivery service. Someone over the age of 18 must be handed the product upon delivery.

If we request proof of age and you refuse to comply with our terms or are unwilling to provide proof of age after the order is placed - A restocking and admin fee of £5 will be deducted from your refund. It takes us time and effort to do these checks and this goes some way toward recovering the costs. In some circumstances of suspicious behavior or potnetial fraudulent we may be required to notify the police.

Age verification

Please be aware that we use AgeChecked, a third-party Age Verification software provider, for any orders that contain age restricted products. This complies with our legal obligation to ensure that we are not allowing minors to purchase age restricted items from our website. AgeChecked Ltd do not store any personal data and all accounts are anonymised and private.

Returning customers:

We will only request proof of age once per customer. When another order is made under the same account to the same address with the same name, you are not required to prove your age again. Your order will be processed automatically.

Your delivery address must be the same. If you change address we will require identification again and details of the new address.

We accept a headed letter from any utility company, phone bill or bank statement etc.

Availability

Unless otherwise stated, the services featured on this website are only available within the United Kingdom, or in relation to postings from the United Kingdom. All advertising is intended solely for the United Kingdom market. You are solely responsible for evaluating the fitness for a particular purpose of any downloads, programs and text available through this site. Redistribution or republication of any part of this site or its content is prohibited, including such by framing or other similar or any other means, without the express written consent of DNA Leisure. We will not warrant that the service from this site will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, although it is provided to the best ability. The Company reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms. If there are any changes to our privacy policy, we will announce that these changes have been made on our home page and on other key pages on our site. If there are any changes in how we use our site customers’ Personally Identifiable Information, notification by e-mail or postal mail will be made to those affected by this change. Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted on our web site 30 days prior to these changes taking place. You are therefore advised to re-read this statement on a regular basis.

Data Collection

Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases
d. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes and perform age checks

Please note, we may keep a copy of any ID document stored in an AES Encrypted Container to comply with UK law. 

Your personal details are also processed by third parties where necessary in order to fulfil your order. We currently use UPS, Royal Mail, DX and DPD to ship out orders. They receive your personal details in order to deliver your order and provide updates about your delivery.
